Programme 2017-2018 coming soon!
Since its foundation in 1835 the Royal Institution of South Wales has been dedicated to the ‘cultivation and advancement’ of knowledge. Each year it arranges talks, open to members and the public alike, with this aim in mind.
Last year's programme was as varied as ever. ‘Swansea and the world’ is our scope. Our themes cover history, art, society, science and technology, in the past, present and future. Our speakers are always expert and often well-known. The discussions were lively - to see some of the highlights, click the Event Archive tab below.
Our new programme is currently being fine tuned and will be released soon. It is guaranteed to be as inspiring as ever - Come along, join us and learn!
Click each event for more information. We hold all our events in Swansea Museum unless noted otherwise. If you have a question, please contact our events organiser at email@example.com
